The FF Mirror 1, is one of the latest pieces by Canadian designer Simon Johns, it is creatively derived from sedimentary stone, exhibiting a cast form that appears to emerge from the wall and culminate in a mirrored surface that has been precisely sliced. It serves both as a sculpture and as a functional object.
Future Fossils is a collection of pieces using mimicry in materials, loosely referencing the sedimentary striations in million years old stone. This collection explores positives and negatives of both extrusions and voids. Made in Canada
