Right of withdrawal - Cancellation order

 

We follow a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused with tags, and in its original immaculate packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Shipping costs for any return are the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer carry the responsibility for the product until it reaches the trader such as damage or loss during transportation/ shipping. We highly recommend for you to ask for a receipt at the post office, and save a copy of your letter as proof. You can also send registered mail, in order to be able to trace the letter.

The item should be returned to the supplier, please get in contact via sales@bazar-noir.com and we will provide you with the contact details of the respective supplier. Please note that this is the only case when the buyer and the supplier will be connected.

The article must be packed back in its original packaging and be in the exact same condition it was when purchased [any marks of used will be subject of a return cancellation and nor refunds will be possible].

Once we will receive your return it will be subject to inspection, we will then take a decision and might send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund per email.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days. To proceed with the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement [e.g a letter sent by post or e-mail]. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired, either:

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you our return approval, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note that withdrawal is not applicable for made-to-order items and electric bulbs.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Any damage occurred to the goods during transportation must be notified in writing within 5 working days from the receipt of goods.

Any damages occurred during transportation are the transportation company’s responsibility. Any reclamation should be made directly with the shipping company. 

Shipping damages already noticeable on the packaging must be noted on the bill of delivery + pictures if possible. Receipt of goods showing obvious damages to items or packaging must be recorded in written form - additionally pictures would be a plus alongside any shipping documentation. In case of the client cannot check receipt of goods immediately the following comment should be mentioned on the document “received with reserve” this must be recorded on all accompanying shipment documentation.

BAZAR NOIR will not be liable for any damages in the event that the buyer has not respected directions provided concerning the assembly of a product, or for any damages arising from misuse or lack of maintenance and care of the delivered items. The packaging used with the palletised boxes is chosen by our suppliers and therefore BAZAR NOIR can’t take any responsibility in that regard.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products - such as special orders or personalised items upon request and lighting bulbs. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Furthermore, we cannot accept returns on sale items, vouchers and gift certificates.

BAZAR NOIR is working in collaboration with designers and offers to customers the possibility to place an order on request. Such a contract takes place when the customer has very specific needs about an article and wish to purchase it in a sizing or colour which is not proposed within our existing selection of products.

BAZAR NOIR will try its best to meet the customer needs and will therefore arrange for the request to be fulfilled. The contract takes place once the customer has agreed on written form [email, letter]  and full payment has been cleared onto our bank account in order to proceed with production. 

BAZAR NOIR will coordinate the correspondence, meetings and be the point of contact between both parties [the supplier/ designer and the buyer]. The buyer will be asked to pay upfront or arrange beforehand for a deposit [value 50% to 70% of the total amount due] and the designers will then proceed with production. If the buyer decides to cancel his order, BAZAR NOIR will immediately inform the designer in order to stop the production of the item. Please note that the deposit won’t be refunded to the buyer. The deposit will cover all costs related to the production that the designers may have such as costs of material, transportation and time allocated to the order on request.

A due date should be fixed between all parties on where the article should be delivered. The balance of the payment should be made before delivery of the article. BAZAR NOIR will assist in organising and coordinating the delivery of the article together with the buyer. All fees related to the delivery is the buyer’s responsibility. 

Please note, that each supplier has his own delivery policy. We proceed on a case-by-case basis depending on the place of delivery and the instructions given by our suppliers. Please note that BAZAR NOIR cannot store the items, they are typically sent and transported from the producer/supplier's workshop and the buyer/customer.

Most articles of our curation are made to order, some of the designers we are working with have an upfront payment policy. BAZAR NOIR will inform its customers when such a payment applies. If a deposit is being granted we require a 50% to 70% deposit payment for all items made to order and in order to begin with production. Production begins only after all order details - overall height, finish choice, shipping details - are confirmed and deposit has been received. Orders will not be placed until a quote has been approved and the invoice has been paid (unless other terms have been previously agreed). Products made to order applies full commitment from the customer and can therefore not be returned due to specific overall height, finish choice, and other specifics.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have as soon as possible and within 14 days after receiving the article, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Exchanges do not apply for made-to-order items.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process your refund, Bazar Noir can't endorse the responsibility for any delay that may occur. Any costs related to a return are the buyer's responsibility.
