Eiffel is characterized by a denuded-rough simplicity, a bare wall lamp that mainly consists of two lighting tubes connected to a wall bracket. The required linear lamps held by lateral bars become by mean the focus of the design. The entire metal construction is made of waxed, blued raw steel, which over time will acquire a significant patina - a voluntary feature - which gives the Eiffel an enticing streamlined look. The lamp takes its name from the famous French engineer Gustave Eiffel, who achieved worldwide fame with his metal-truss constructions known as the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Lamp was designed by the Danish designer duo Emil Krøyer and Mads Sætter-Lassen for design studio Frama.
