Melt Accent Chair

The Melt Dining Chair is part of a series of furniture pieces from the New York based studio Bower. This singular piece consists of a thick upholstered cushion droop over a solid wood base, an invitation to join in on the relaxation. Part of the Melt Collection celebrates the exploration of reality vs. perception through material and form. As it slides onto the floor, the end of the base becomes exposed, offering a contrasting section of the surface, a continued exploration of reality vs. perception through material and form.
