The Okoma collection from the German duo hettler.tüllmann was created with Miami artisans and People of the Sun, a social project in Malawi that helps low-income artisans create sustainable businesses while preserving their cultural heritage.The collection includes singular objects made from palm leaves, that are made using the local basketry technique, and are the focus of this collaboration. Each piece is handmade and bears the signature of the artisan who shaped it.
