Anà is a self-portrait in the form of a chair. Its name comes from the Chaldean language and translates into "I" or "me". A sculptural chair that tells the story of its designer, simple in shape and yet complex it is a reflection of Sizar's vision and individual journey.
Sizar Alexis is a Stockholm-based product and furniture designer that constantly strives to experiment with objects that emits serenity to their surroundings with their geometrical shapes and robustness yet a tidiness in volume. A raw and imperfect surface, carefully built to give the design objects their character and a sense of serenity. His work is strongly influenced by his deep interest in Brutalism.
