The Blanc Cassé series explores the notion of white as a colour, being a physical alteration which will render functional.The colour white often associated to the painter’s canvas or the writer’s blank sheet from which the act becomes object.The inspiration behind this piece, comes from the mark left by the welding machine.The welding machine becomes a paintbrush that lets the outline of the object appear.
