The Ushigome-Yanagichio stool is a unique piece crafted from wood, inspired by José Cortés time living in Tokyo. Its design reflects the essence of the city, capturing the interplay of voids and solids that characterize this marvelous metropolis. Every curve and detail of the stool seeks to convey the complexity and harmony I experienced during his stay in Tokyo, creating a piece that not only serves as a functional seat but also as an artistic expression of the lived experiences in this captivating city.
