The Melt Collection is from New York based Bower - a studio with a multidisciplinary approach to contemporary furniture and product design. This singular furniture piece stands as a console and is composed of a travertine stone slab that drapes and stretches across a tandem of wooden base. Unified these three elements form into a single piece. The curved stone section serves as a nice catch-all. The console is part of the Melt series a continuous exploration of what is reality in contrast with what is being perceived through material and form.
