Motanka stands for the traditional Ukrainian linen dolls that served as a sacred talisman for the family. By these encrypted items the household is carefully preserved by sacred ancestors, which fill the house with positive energy and permanent protection from any harm that may be caused.
FAINA is a multidisciplinary design studio founded by architect and designer Victoriya Yakusha. All of her projects are linked to make Ukrainian design recognisable to the world, playing the role of a modern design Ambassador for her homeland, Victoriya reveals the soul and creativity of her people.
