Revolve Bottles

Revolve is a series of handmade bottles that explores the possibility of preserving sentimental values in a world of industrial, mass-produced objects. Following methods for collecting and gathering water throughout history are the subject of extensive research. Every pottery shard can potentially contribute to the accumulation of knowledge about the culture, economy, production methods and technology of a given period. Motivated by a desire to represent the tension between historical knowledge and modern life. Talia has chosen to design bottles – objects whose structure and production process embody knowledge accumulated over many generations. These bottles are made of biodegradable plastic grains.
